Sarah began to be a lover of acting at an early stage, even though she was still in the prep school. The drama teacher who she was with caught her slicing across the lawn, in order to miss field hockey practice he told that she should not attend practice but take part in the production of Richard III and thus began her adoration of acting. Sarah decided to take her passion for the art and further her education by studying English as well as Theatre at Hamilton College studying theatre overseas in London as well as Oxford in her senior year. After having graduated magna cum laude at Hamilton was able to continue her studies for a year at Yale Drama school. Sarah's parents urged her to pursue her interest in the arts. Her natural talent and the education earned her a place in the world of television.
